“His Majesty Andre is like daddy’s old record that skips under the cutting needle creating that surprising groove you’ve always waited for under the club lights.” Or so the Italian says.  HMA recently released a massive six-track EP, Battle of the Spurs, that’s best described as no frills, all disco.  Funky basslines and looping, ever-repeating disco samples and screaming divas make the EP a must-have for any fan of the modern disco-electro.  Out on Hervè’s always dependable Cheap Thrills, this is not one to be missed.  Be sure to also grab the track that catapulted HMA into the spotlight back in 2008, ‘Peep Thong.’
